Session 1: “The Story Behind The Revision of PSAK 50 & 55”

This session will give an overview about PSAK 50 & 55, including the background of the revision, the difference between revise and previous standard, and positive effect that will be gained after the implementation of the standard.

Session 2: “The Implementation of PSAK 50 & 55 in Banking Industry”

2. Training

“Getting Closer with the Revised Standard”
This training will explain further concept about the items in PSAK 50 & 55, such as recognition, classification, measurement, and disclosure. Then the participants will implement them in making of company’s financial statements, also with case study.

3. Company Visit at Bank dan Perusahaan Sekuritas.
Day/Date : Wednesday, February 25th, 2009
Place : Securities Companies and Bank
In this company visit, we expect both of the securities company and bank (either they are national or multinational) will give the overview of financial instruments accounting’s system implementation that accordance with theme that rise in IAF 10.

4. Accounting Competition
Day/Date : Thursday, February 26th, 2009
Place : Tritura FEUI
As part of the whole event, Accounting Competition will be held to challenge the memory and thinking ability, also the strong analytical skill and adroitness in answering the question.

5. Expo
This expo’s target includes the sponsor companies, Certified Public Accountant firms, national and multinational banks, and companies whose business are involved with the tools or other supporting systems that relate to student’s world.
